- Local Storage: All blood pressure readings, heart rate data, and notes are encrypted and stored locally within your device's internal storage sandbox.
- Data Ownership: You retain 100% ownership of your data. If you uninstall the app, your data is deleted from the device permanently (unless you have manually exported a backup).
3. Permissions & Usage
The app requests specific permissions solely to provide core functionality:
- Storage (Files/Media): Required only if you explicitly choose to export your data as a PDF report or JSON backup to your device's "Documents" folder.
- Microphone: Required only if you use the "Voice Entry" feature to dictate your readings. Audio is processed locally by the Android System Speech API and is not recorded or uploaded by us.
- Notifications: Required to schedule local reminders (e.g., "Time to measure BP"). These alerts are generated on-device and do not require an internet connection.
4. Payments & Refunds
BP Tracker Pro is a paid application ("Premium App") available for a one-time fee via the Google Play Store.
- There are no subscriptions, recurring fees, or in-app purchases.
- Refund requests are processed directly by Google Play in accordance with their standard refund policy.
5. Limitation of Liability
By using this application, you agree that the developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use this application. The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
